OUR
STORY
Un Nuevo Sol was founded in 2020 and has reached hundreds of thousands of readers and live audiences around the world.
It is rooted in community: local, national and international. Our aim is to build bridges through innovative and bold events, publications, cross-arts films, collaborations and translation.
We have worked with a range of partners including the Roundhouse, Southbank Centre, the Poetry Translation Centre, Magma Poetry, Modern Poetry in Translation (MPT), schools, Letras Latinas & more.
We bring together British Latinx/Latine writers, Latin American and Latinx writers, uniting the three continents in a wonderful celebration of Latin Spirit.
